The service is intended only for adults who are legally eligible to seek marriage. Profiles for minors are prohibited, even when created by a family member.
Child Safety Policy
Vadhuvara is an adult-only matrimony platform. This policy sets out our zero-tolerance approach to child sexual abuse and exploitation, underage access, grooming, trafficking-related activity, risky user conduct, reporting, moderation, and law-enforcement cooperation.
Confirmed or suspected child sexual abuse material, grooming, trafficking, or underage solicitation may result in immediate removal, suspension, evidence preservation, and escalation.
Users, families, moderators, and external reporters must have a clear route to raise child safety concerns for urgent review by the platform.
Our child safety commitment
Vadhuvara operates as a matrimonial platform for adults. Because trust, identity, and safety are central to a marriage-focused service, the platform adopts a strict child safety standard that goes beyond ordinary content moderation. Any attempt to use the service to involve, target, depict, contact, solicit, exploit, endanger, traffic, harass, or sexualize a child is prohibited.
This policy applies to all members, registrants, visitors, moderators, employees, contractors, assisted service teams, and any third party who uses, uploads to, communicates through, or otherwise interacts with Vadhuvara systems, websites, apps, or support channels.
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact emergency services or the appropriate law enforcement authority first. A report to Vadhuvara is important, but it is not a substitute for urgent emergency intervention.
Adult-Only Platform
- A. Vadhuvara is intended only for individuals aged 18 years and above.
- B. The platform may set higher eligibility thresholds where marriage law, regional rules, or internal trust controls require it.
- C. Parents, guardians, or family registrants may not create, maintain, or submit profiles for a person who is under 18 years of age.
- D. Any account reasonably suspected to belong to, represent, or facilitate access for a minor may be restricted or removed pending review.
Zero-Tolerance Standard
Vadhuvara prohibits child sexual abuse material, child sexual exploitation, grooming, sextortion, trafficking-related conduct involving minors, age-misrepresentation intended to reach minors, and any content or communication that sexualizes or endangers a child.
This prohibition applies whether the conduct happens in profile text, profile images, albums, chat, voice or video interactions, follow-up support calls, external links, document uploads, or off-platform contact attempts originating through the service.
Prohibited Content and Behavior
- A. Uploading, storing, requesting, sharing, transmitting, linking to, or distributing CSAM or any exploitative child imagery.
- B. Creating underage profiles or falsely stating age in order to participate in the platform.
- C. Attempting to contact a minor, solicit a minor, arrange meetings with a minor, or use guardians or intermediaries to facilitate inappropriate contact.
- D. Grooming, coercive sexual conversation, requests for explicit photos, blackmail, extortion, threats, or manipulation involving a child or a person believed to be underage.
- E. Uploading profile or gallery images that primarily depict children, especially where the content is intimate, invasive, exploitative, misleading, or unnecessary for a matrimonial purpose.
- F. Using Vadhuvara to facilitate trafficking, forced marriage, child marriage, or any exploitative or unlawful arrangement involving a minor.
Age Assurance and Access Controls
Vadhuvara may use registration fields, age declarations, OTP checks, manual moderation, document review, image review, behavioral signals, and complaint-driven verification to identify accounts that may involve minors or false age claims.
Profiles that appear school-aged, mismatch the declared age, reference underage education stages, or otherwise raise concern may be suspended until the age and legitimacy of the profile are satisfactorily verified.
The platform reserves the right to decline, delay, or remove access where age cannot be confidently established.
Reporting and User Feedback
- A. Users must be able to report child safety concerns through support@vadhuvara.org and any in-app or in-service reporting route provided by Vadhuvara.
- B. Reports should include profile ID, screenshots where lawful and safe, timestamps, contact details, and a short explanation of why the content or behavior is believed to involve a child or child exploitation risk.
- C. Reporters should avoid resharing harmful imagery more than necessary. Where illegal content is involved, textual description and contextual evidence may be safer than repeated redistribution.
Review, Moderation, and Enforcement
Vadhuvara may immediately disable access to content, freeze profiles, block communication, restrict discovery, remove media, or suspend accounts while a child safety review is underway.
Confirmed violations may result in permanent account termination, device or identifier blocking, payment or service cancellation, refusal of future registration, and escalation to law enforcement or other competent authorities.
Vadhuvara may act on credible suspicion and is not required to wait for a criminal conviction or external confirmation before applying platform safety controls.
Evidence Preservation and External Escalation
Where legally required or operationally necessary, Vadhuvara may preserve relevant logs, media hashes, identifiers, reports, and metadata connected to suspected child safety violations.
We may cooperate with law enforcement, child protection authorities, cybercrime units, store platforms, and other competent entities, including by providing preserved information when lawfully requested or when reporting obligations apply.
Users may also report serious incidents to the relevant regional authority or law enforcement body in their jurisdiction.
Safe Conduct Expectations for Members
- A. Do not engage with any profile you suspect may belong to a minor. Report it immediately instead.
- B. Do not request personal images, documents, school details, or location details from anyone whose age is uncertain.
- C. Keep early interactions inside trusted platform channels wherever possible and involve family only in lawful, adult-to-adult matrimonial contexts.
- D. Any user who attempts to bypass age controls, move a suspected minor to another platform, or continue contact after suspicion is raised may be treated as a high-risk violator.
Designated Child Safety Contact
Vadhuvara designates support@vadhuvara.org as its operational child safety reporting contact unless and until a more specific address is formally published.
Reports marked as urgent child safety concerns should be prioritized for review, escalation, and preservation action according to internal incident response procedures.
Policy Governance and Updates
Vadhuvara may review and strengthen this policy from time to time in response to legal requirements, store policy updates, product changes, moderation learnings, and safety incidents.
Continued use of the service is subject to the latest published child safety standards, and material breaches may result in immediate platform action.
